Children’s Advocacy Center in Morris just opened its doors last August.

For our charity project, we will be providing lap quilts, pillowcases, and tote bags for the children. You may make as many of them as you would like; the need is great. Most of the children served by the CAC are female, and they range in age from 2–17. There are some boys as well though, so don’t let that stop you from making a cute little boy quilt if you have something cute in your stash looking for a home! Lap quilts can be any size; I recommend at least 36”x48”. I am including links to some easy tote bag and pillowcase tutorials in case you need them. The tote bags just need to be large enough to hold a folder and notebook that they give each child as they come through the center.
