Pieces from the Heart Quilt Guild was founded in January 1996 when 40 people first met at Peace Lutheran Church in Morris, IL.  Our Guild is a non-profit organization encouraging the art of quilting.  Today the Guild meets the first Thursday of each month at the First Midwest Bank in Morris, IL 60450 at 7:00pm.  Today we have approximately 75 members from the Grundy County area.

Throughout the year our Quilt Guild members enjoy renowned speakers and workshops.  By bringing these benefits to our members, we help to educate everyone on new technigues and styles of quilting.  We also try to offer special social events to encourage our members to share their friendship and love of quilting.

Pieces from the Heart Quilt Guild continues to reach out to our community in various ways.  Over the years, members have made quilts for Under His Wings, Lap Robes for the Grundy County Home, quilts for the wounded military, and participated in Project Linus.  Our annual raffle quilt raises funds for various local and national charities.

Guests are always welcome at our meetings.  Membership dues for the year are $25.00.
